Riders and non-riders

You shold be a rider who masters all three basic paces and who isn't overly timid as well as have a good physical condition. You should be able to clean, brush and saddle your horse by yourself (with some help from us in the beginning) and you should be "adult" - at least ca. 16 years old (we do not offer a children's program). Our horses are very sensitive and should stay so. In addition, you should not weigh more than 85 kg.

Finca Cerro Caballero also offers holiday occasions for non-riders. You may go for walks to see rare biota, mountain biking trips (please bring bike yourself) or go for sight-seeing tours in Andalusia. We recommend a rental car from the airport.

The mediterranean sea with the tourist beaches is only 30 kilometres away. Granada with its beautiful old town and the famous Alhambra is also only 180 kilometres away from our Finca.

We also recommend a visit to a nearby extraordinarily beautiful Andalusian stud. Some of these horses are also for sale. If interested we assist you with organizing visits to the stud and consulting and arranging with the spanish stud owner.

A special tidbit for non-riding partners are guided motocycle tours through the dry riverbeds (ramblas) for beginners and advanced bikers. A Swiss couple nearby guarantees individual tours in small groups. Routes to the mediterranean sea, the Alhambra, or just in a training parcours are on the program.

In the evening we all meet again for dinner and the end of this eventful day at the finca.
