You find us in the hilly region of eastern Andalusia, 15 kilometres from the picturesque village Velez Rubio and approx. 200 km from Alicante, in absolute seclusion far away from the tourist flow at the coasts of Andalusia.

The landscpae shows a harsh charm and is characterized by numberless almond trees, which bloom in February/March.

You will find our Cortijo built in Andalusian style on a hill called "Cerro Caballero" (historical name, translated with riders hill), approx. 900 m high. Here you find shady places to sit and relax, access balconies and patios as well as a comfortable living room with a cosy fireplace. Several patios invite you to eat and drink, relax, read, and talk. We let the evenings die away in a homely round with a 3-course dinner with table wine.

The five double rooms with shower/toilet/heating provide a private atmophere with the possibility to. The big sun-heated pool with deckchairs takes care of your refreshment in summer.

The stables with our Knabstrups are very close to the house. Our elite stallion "Laurids af Spannan" resides above the finca, the nursery with mothers and fillies can be found right across the guests' quarters, and the comfortable open stable with the broodmares, geldings and young horses lies at the foot of the finca.
